VG-823 Portable video Signal Generator

VG-823 is a more sophisticated version of the VG-812 and VG-813 models, which have been used as global standard machines, and is a portable analog video signal generator with efficient cost performance. The unit supports timings of 1600 x 1280 (horizontal frequency: 100 kHz or higher) and higher, and allows to set the accuracy as high as 1 dot, providing precise video signal outputs. By using an optional remote box "RB-649", program data can be edited and registered via on-screen menus. The unit can be widely used in various sites ranging from research and development departments to production line or service departments.

Dot clocks of up to 250 MHz are supported. Compactness, low price, low power
consumption are realized while providing high capabilities, by installing a gate
array.
･ Registration using on-screen menus
By using an optional remote box (RB-649), menus can be displayed on the display
unit with any timing, from which you can edit program data and register on the
panel ROM.
･ High speed pattern switching
Employment of a high speed CPU and our own circuit design made it possible to
reduce time required to switch patterns. Using a RB-649, switching of patterns
by singly touching a key is also possible.
･ A wide variety of inspection patterns
Basic patterns (11 types including character, crosshatch, circle, color bar,
gray scale, etc.) supported by conventional features and special patterns
(approx. 30 patterns preinstalled) can be used in the same manners.
･ Internal sample timing data
In addition to timings registered on the panel ROM, typical computer timings (40
types preinstalled) in a VG can be used to output patterns.
