MSG-2041 GPS SIGNAL GENERATOR

< DESCRIPTION >

The MSG-2041 is a high performance Signal Generator designed for generating the Simulation Signal of GPS (Global Positioning System) Satellite.
This Signal Generator is suitable for adjustment and inspection of GPS receivers and systems, and it has been developed for control all functions by GP-IB in addition to simple operation.
It can be possible to measure Error Rate Frequency and Lock Range, etc. with output terminals for data signal of C/A, NAVI and etc.


 

< FEATURES >

1. Frequency stability of internal reference oscillator is less then 5×10-8. With external Atomic Oscillator, stability is possible to improve up to 5×10-11 through input terminal on a rear panel.
   
2. Frequency adjustable in 0.1Hz steps.


3. Doppler frequency (1.57542GHz±10kHz) can be digital-set.


4. Rapid changing output level from -50 to -149dBm.


5. LNA powered antenna can be connected. A capacitor is installed in the RF output terminal.


6. All NAVI data preset by GP-IB line and also automatic Z count renewal function can be preset.


7. Most suitable for inspecting convolution operation of Receivers with capability of presetting of doppler frequency and level of each Satellite.

  
8. 1.023MHz data clock and NAVI data are on a rear panel for checking IF section and signal processing section.


9. The front panel operation can be programmed by GP-IB.
